PRAYER LIST
Heavenly Father,
you have promised to hear when we pray
in the name of your son,
Therefore in confidence and trust,
We pray for the Church:
🙏 For persecuted Christians around the world.
🙏 We pray for our local clergy, (wherever in the world you happen to be). For the administration staff of our Church – who keep things running smoothly. For all the volunteers that help with all that needs to be done. For youth workers, Sunday school teachers and helpers in both the school and church situations. We pray especially for those reaching out and working in Pastoral Care.
Father enliven the Church for its mission
that we may be salt of the earth and light to the world
Breathe fresh life into your people
Give us power to reveal Christ in word and action.
We pray for the world:
AUSTRALIA
🙏 Please pray for the women of Australia where there has been an epidemic of violence against women this year, with a woman being murdered every 4 days since the beginning of 2024 and 5 out of the 6 victims of the Sydney Mall stabbing were women. Pray for this violence against women to cease. Pray for the men in Australia who need to take action to stop this trend and protect their families.
🙏 Hamas and other Muslim terrorist organisations are calling for the destruction of Israel, and the genocide of the Jews worldwide, in order for a phophetic figure called the Mardi to come, he is supposed to appear with Jesus. They are spreading misinformation, lies and HATRED worldwide, leading to a huge rise in Anti-semetic Hate crimes. Conversely the rate of Anti-muslim hate crimes is also growing. Hate is NEVER the right answer! Pray for all victims of hate crimes. Pray that good people will stand up and speak the truth, that all lives matter and have value, stand against the ignorance and lies of the real enemy behind this rise in hatred.
ISRAEL
🙏 Egypt is now trying to negotiate a deal between Hamas & Israel for the return of more hostages and to stop the offensive due to occur in Rafah. Please pray that more of the hostages are released, and for the families of those still being held in Gaza. The USA and 17 other countries are now pressuring Hamas to release the hostages which would bring about a immediate polonged ceasefire with Israel and an end to the crisis, Hamas are now saying they want a 2 state solution (they already had that before Oct 7) and a 5 year ceasefire - so they want to start it all again in 5 years after re-arming. Please pray for God's wisdom to step into the situation and a real viable solution to be found.
NORTH KOREA
🙏 A Nuclear North Korea is threatening invasion of South Korea and war against the USA. North Korea would not do this without support from China and Moscow. This is not good! Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ in Asia, and for wisdom in this situation.
PALESTINIAN PEOPLE
🙏 Please pray for the civilians in Rafah and for God's protection to be over Aid workers and humanitarian efforts to help the civilians of Gaza.
UKRAINE
🙏 Please pray for the Ukraine in the ongoing war with Russia as recent offensives have seen the Ukraine forces pushed back - this is proving an expensive war for Russua, especially in the terms of Russian lives lost.
USA
🙏 The USA is building a pier in Gaza to enable more aid/food to reach the people in Gaza, where they say famine is "inevitable". Please pray that this has a good outcome and aid reaches the civilians.
🙏 Dozens of tornadoes have ripped through the mid-west of the USA leaving 5 dead and tens of thousands without power. Please pray for the families of those lost, and all those effected by the tornadoes.
Creator of all,
lead us and every people into ways of justice and peace,
That we may respect one another in freedom and truth.
Awaken in us a sense of wonder for the earth
and all that is in it
Teach us to care creatively for its resources.
We pray for our Country:
🙏 Eternal God, Fount of wisdom;
we are that you grant our government and all it's representatives,
the conviction of responsibilty to you for their decisions
give them imagination, skill and energy,
to bless this land with unity and peace,
rather than strife.
🙏 COVID-19
The Virus is still with us and people don't seem to understand that fact. Just because it is no longer being reported in the TV News doesn't mean the pandemic is over - 2343 new cases were reported this week and another 2 Covid deaths. There are 159 people in hospital. Our hospitals are struggling. Please pray for all medical staff.
Give grace to all whose lives are linked with ours.
May we serve Christ in one another, and love as he loves us.
We pray for those in need:
🙏 Please pray for Lisa a young Mum who had to have an emergency caesar, baby is doing well but Liza is suffering from sepsis and struggling to breath, so her condition is serious and she needs our prayers.
🙏 Please pray for Bridget who needs a miraclous healing for her elbow and wrist.
🙏 Please pray for a collegue who recently lost her mother.
🙏 Please pray for a Gra. Who has lost the tip of his fingers and has broken bones. Pray for a fast recovery and protection from infection.
God of hope comfort and restore
all who suffer in body, mind or spirit
May they know the power of your healing love.
Make us willing agents of your compassion.
Strengthen us as we share in making people whole.
Lord we praise and thank you for:
🙏 All the Churches that have make available live streamed services providing comfort, guideance and the opportunity for shut-ins, the bedridden, and those in lockdown to still worship and be a part of the global family of Christ.
🙏 God’s creation that is still going on around us.
🙏 God loves us so much during this difficult time, and he shares our pain, fear and grief. His shoulders are large enough to embrace the world - it is natural to worry, but it is also a burdon we need not bear, give the worries to Him.
🙏 Give thanks for our worldwide family of God, loved by God and by each other.
🙏 Our families, friends and loved ones and our church families.

We offer thanks and praise to you LORD for blessing this venture,
giving us your support, and inspiration.
We praise you for being, who you are,
that you bless us with what we need often
before we even know we need it.
That your plans for us are so much greater
than anything we could imagine.
Truly may thy will be done in these pages.
